We first were given a small ground floor queen room right off the noisy lobby, with a view of a cement wall, and we were very disappointed. But since we had a rate that was "3 nights for the price of 2" we glumly felt that we couldn't expect much. Then we were moved to an upper floor superior king room with French doors and a Juliet balcony overlooking the extensive gardens and our entire outlook changed. Breakfast was about $40 extra per person per day, but there were several bakeries and cafes within a block or two which were more than adequate for breakfast at about $100 per couple. The indoor or outdoor bar were perfect places to unwind after a day of sight-seeing. All in all, we were very pleased with this hotel.
