We stayed at the Pulitzer in Amsterdam for 3 nights from 9/20-23. It was one of the best hotels we've stayed in. Our room was newly renovated and very quiet. The down bedding was so comfortable that it was difficult to get out of bed in the morning. The courtyards are charming, there is beautiful artwork in the common areas, and free coffee in the morning outside the dining room. Internet is free in the business center only. The hotel staff were very accommodating. We did book this through Starwood and used our points for 2 free nights and one night at a reduced rate. The hotel had no problem getting our reservation correct, unlike some other reviews I read on this site. The location is great, 5 minutes from the Anne Frank House, on a beautiful canal, and next to the 9 Streets shopping area. If you are interested in going to the Anne Frank house, get your tickets on the internet before you go and you won't have to wait in line there. The hotel can sell you tickets to the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum. We enjoyed a half-day tour to see the windmills in Zaanse Schans and the fishing villages of Volendam & Markham. We used Lindbergh tours and highly recommend them, even though the Pulitzer deals with a different tour company.
