The Pulitzer is well situated, just a block from the Anne Frank House and a few blocks from Dam Square, in the lovely Jordan section of the city. It is a warren of 25 canal houses awkwardly strung together and so heavily renovated that all of the historic charm is lost. We stayed 4 nights in a deluxe canal view room, which was nice, but nothing special. The hotel does have several lovely courtyards, which are a nice place to relax if the weather is good.
The staff is helpful when asked, but not particularly friendly or outgoing. Wifi is not free and there is no turn down service.
