Things I really liked about this hotel are the free wi-fi, the quiet, quirky bedrooms which still retain their historical charm (bare brick feature walls and tiles with Dutch scenes in the bathroom) and the art adorning the walls throughout the building.
Things that disappointed me were the lack of a view from the bedroom - my room just looked out over other rooms - and the bareness of the room which was on the small side. I also felt that breakfast was a let down with no a la carte options, some unappetising hot offerings and a ludicrously antiquated toaster. Honestly, we can put a man on the moon but we can't invent a sensible hotel-grade toaster?
This wasn't a bad hotel by any means...it just wasn't great either. Slightly above average.
