this museum was closed for renovation on our last Amsterdam visit so we were very happy to be able to visit on our recent trip. We were in line before opening time and had prepurchased the admssion tickets. By getting there early,we were able to go to the Night Watch right away and view without crowds in front of us. The arrangement of the exhibits spreads the visitors across many rooms so that it does not feel as crowded as other museums.
The building is beautiful, as is the stained glass in the great hall outside the Night Watch gallery
The cafe is quite a nice area to take a break and have a coffee and pastry.
