Our party of 10 all gave this the thumbs up. We all get together for a quality meal once a year and this is up there with the best (been doing it now for 15 years!).
The service was good - friendly, accommodating but unobtrusive. We chose the tasting menu of seven courses which had to be slightly adapted because of a couple of allergies. The bouche amuse were all perfect and generated that real sense of anticipation of what is to come. The food ranged from a superb steak tartar to an oyster dish (with beetroot and horseradish!) right through to foie gras with fruit for dessert. Each dish had subtle and extremely creative flavourings and presentation. The wine list is not the enormous tome that gets presented in some restaurants - it has plenty of choice in my view and has been thoughtfully put together. As a group that enjoys our food and wine we were in heaven!
There is no doubt that this is an expensive place to dine but in my opinion, very well worth it!
