“True italian pizza! ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2014

I've been several time at pizzeria fuoco vivo and the pizza is really good! I feel like in my home country, all staff is Italian and also all the products used for The pizza. They have also a very good homemade tiramisu. The Only thing that I didn't like: their knives cannot cut properly the pizza!! Except this, I think it's one of the best pizza in ams.

“Our monthly treat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2014 via mobile

We are an italian family living in the Netherlands and this is the best place to have an italian pizza. They use their own produce like their mozzarella di bufala which is excellent and gives the pizza it's authenticity. Would definitely book on a weekend as it can get really busy.

“Good pizza, but...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2014

It's way too expensive and it's definitely not a place for "una cena a lume di candela". Thus said, their pizza is still one of the best in town.

“Great pizza friendly place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2014 via mobile

This is a great little pizzeria serving tasty fresh sourdough pizzas from an original clay oven on a quiet street outside the main centre of Amsterdam but only 2 stops on the tram from dam square. Staff are really friendly, and italian.

If you want a chilled out bite to eat this place fits the bill

“Also in Italy would be a very good pizza”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2014

We go there very often, almost once a week. The guys are always very friendly, but the pizza it's really the best part: it's just a very good Italian pizza. Our favourite it's the Vesuvio: half pizza and half calzone, so after you finish the pizza part you start eating the calzone part, which is still warm: just perfect (the hotter the pizza, the best is). Otherwise also the specials are usually very good.

Enjoy!

(and remember that in Italy we drink beer with pizza, not wine!)
