“Great location, warm and comfortable, good for coffee and cake”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2012

This nice little cafe was busy when we arrived, one of the reasons we picked it. We had lunch + coffee and cake. The sandwiches are freshly made and the cake is very tasty.
We didn't have any problems with service - the food came pretty quick. But we were sat in the downstairs area next to the kitchen!
Free wifi meant I could get on with some work and the staff were happy for us to stay put.
It's not the cheapest coffee shop, but we really enjoyed a relaxing couple of hours before hitting the streets of Amsterdam's quirky shops again.

“Slow and not very good”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012

If you are just going for coffee and some cake than this cafe is perfect. But if you are interested in lunch, dont waste your time. My friend and I went in a simply ordered 1 salad and 1 sandwich. It took an hour and 15 minutes for it to come. We kept asking when it was coming and were rudely dismissed.
Lots of lovely cafes in Amsterdam so don't waste your time in this one.

“Lovely, lovely, lovely....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2012

Situated in the charming '9 streets' area of Amsterdam, this cafe really is worth a visit. The cafe has a lovely ambience to it, and on the two times we visited, it was always busy, though we were always able to get a seat. The food is fresh and tasty and there is a nice variety of options to suit all tastes. Delicious cakes and coffee on offer too. Would definitely recommend.

“A solid find”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2012

Good breakfast options. The staff was very friendly and the food was good. Only problem was that they made my girlfriends egg 'over hard' when she ordered it 'over easy'.
