“Fantastic stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2012

The hotel is super charming, very well located, clean and the staff is amazing! Natalie, the owner, is very caring. She's always doing her best to make the guest's staying unforgettable, and she does! She's super nice and made our stay pretty special. Her apple pancakes are the best! Benny is a super nice and easygoing fellow too. Everything was perfect at our stay. If you may, book the room with a balcony with a canal view. It must be one of the best rooms in Amsterdam: spacious, with an incredible view and no neighbors in front. Just the best! Worth every penny!

Room Tip: If you may, book the room with a balcony with a canal view. It must be one of the best rooms in Ams...

Great hotel not far from anything. Could walk to downtown and get a quick bite or anything else within a matter of minutes.

Room Tip: Warning, the cheaper room is very small. Not uncomfortable, but small. If you need a little more r...

Stayed here for one night with my girlfriend.Ideal location within the city.About twenty minutes from all major tourist attractions on foot.Room was on top floor and was a very good standard and a decent size.Very uncluttered and modern.Beds were to singles pushed together but very comfy.Steep stairs as other people have said but nothing major.Didnt have breakfast here because we had a lie in so can't comment on it.Natalie, the owner was very pleasent and helpful and gave us a few tips. Was able to leave our bags there before and after checkout so we could enjoy the sights without them.Very enjoyable stay overall. You can get the bus right outside the main airport entrance and it drops you off about two minutes walk from the hotel. It costs €4 euros per person for a one way ticket and the journey takes about thirty minutes depending on traffic. The bus number is 197.

Have just returned from two nights in Amsterdam and cannot fault our stay. The hotel is in an excellent location and the staff cannot do enough to help you with anything. As it is quite a small hotel there is a much more personal feel to the service than a larger chain hotel, you even get a welcome from the hotel dog!

Very friendly, honest and helpful staff! Great location, nice comfortable clean rooms and yummy breakfast! I had overbooked the room and they caught it, notified me and reduced the room charge, how's that for service!!! Rare hotel that is family friendly, made room for the kids and treated them great! Walking distance of many great Amsterdam sites, Anne Frank house, Rijksmuseum, canal cruises, night life. Will definately stay here again!

Fabulous hotel! We had a small double which was small (no good if you are very tall as the toilet is so close to the wall, you wouldn't be able to sit on it!) but had a lovely view and is nicely decorated so the size really didnt bother us. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast is delicious - pancakes and omelettes divine and all the bread and croissants so fresh. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Only a small thing - tea and coffee facilities in the room would be nice. Perfect hotel!

Room Tip: The toilet in the small double is very close to the wall - if you are very tall, you wouldn't be...

We came to Amsterdam on four prior occasions, half of which were in hotels on the canals. But our recent stay for five nights at the Boutique Hotel View, in a quiet picturesque area with a view of one charming canal joining another directly outside the large windows of our room, was the best. Both the Van Gogh and the Rijksmuseum were a close walk away and the area is surrounded by good restaurants. Natalie and her staff provide excellent service, including making omelets and pancakes to supplement the buffet breakfast. When we return to Amsterdam, we’ll be heading straight for the Boutique Hotel View.

Room Tip: In the front, facing the two canals coming together.
