I have to describe my experience which was pretty horrible and I will never visit this place again. First of all we were treated very rudely. We were 5 people and we ordered 3 main course dishes, 3 starters with 5 naan breads, and the waiter very rudely said its not enough and he pretty much was refusing to keep this as the final order. (This was by the way enough for 5 people). 2 dishes can be shared easily with 3 people. First we had samosas, which had to be one of the worse I ever had. The potatoes were very bland, without much taste. In main course we had chicken tikka masala, which was anything but chicken tikka masala, paneer masala which was good, and veg korma which seemed to have nothing apart from a big cauliflower in it !
We noticed they were giving complimentary pappadums to all the tables (this is customary in pretty much all the indian restaurants i have visited), but they did not serve us. On enquiring why we got a response "You have ordered only 3 main course items, we will give that complimentary only if everyone orders a main course". With that logic give pappadums for 3 people ??? I was flabbergasted and all I wanted was just to pay and never come back here again. My friend who took us there informed me that this place is always like this and they are always rude, especially to Indians ! I would strongly recommend not to visit this place, as I am very sure you will find way better indian food at a more reasonable price in amsterdam.
