First and foremost this hotel is immaculately clean - the bathroom especially. This reflects on the efficiency of this family run hotel which is in an old townhouse close to one of the canals.

It's a short hop on the underground from the central station, practical for us when coming from Schipol Airport. Equally it's in a quiet but safe area so evening walks home were trouble-free.

Rooms are a decent size and the beds were comfortable. Didn't detect any noise from trams outside.

Breakfast is in a lovely bright room by reception and there's everything you need for a continental breakfast. Staff replenish items regularly but note that you should arrive in advance of cut/off time as staff do start clearing away breakfast accordingly.

Will definitely be back!

I was pleased to find that this hotel is just a 15 minute walk to central Amsterdam or just two stops on the metro from Centraal station. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was standard continental fayre - with all items replaced frequently.

The room was clean and modern, if a little noisy due to the trams outside - but these do not run all night so sleep will not be disturbed.

Overall, a great place to stay in Amsterdam

This hotel is owned and run by a family. They do all the front end work themselves and they try their best and succeed big time. The rooms are comfortable if a bit small. Bathroom was modern and beautiful. Jin at the front desk couldnt have been more helpful. Its a minute from the metro and bus and tram lines and less than 30' walk to the center. The price is excellent.
