Petit Prince is my all time favourite : a warm welcome by Charles, and a very comfortable place to stay. The apartment is on walking distance of all important museums and has very nice view at the park. It is really nicely and modern decorated, with a cosy fireplace, and has a fine, clean and neat shower and lovely soft bed. The delivered breakfast in the morning is a delicious and luxurious experience, I could get used to, even as all those tasty things in the refrigerator you may use. In Petit Prince I felt like a princess, it was perfect. I surely will come back.

We really enjoyed our stay here. This place is a true gem. The view and location can not be beat. Our reservation was just hours before our arrival and it was if Charles had been planning weeks for our arrival. The kitchen was fully stocked with delicious snacks and apartment was spotless. Charles spent over an hour with us when we arrived going over everything as well as his full Amsterdam travel guide of must dos while visiting. We will defiantly stay here again when we return.

Ps. Charles makes killer apple pies. I would make this a requirement of your booking to have one delivered each morning & maybe afternoon as well :)

Our stay was perfect, our delayed flight had caused us a late arrival but this was not a problem for Menno who made sure we felt very welcome by greeting us with a warm lit fire and a glass of bubbly, he showed us around the beautiful apartment and made sure we were perfectly comfortable before leaving us to enjoy our first evening relaxing whilst looking out over the amazing view of the canal. The fridge was well stocked and we were very happy! Over the next few days we always felt perfectly cared for whilst having full privacy, knowing that Menno was on hand if ever we needed anything. How nice it was to come back to unexpected treats left by our hosts of fresh pastries and cakes in the apartment, after an afternoon walking along the canals, visiting small galleries and lovely old pubs. Delightful experience thoroughly recommended, the location is perfect, in one of the loveliest parts of Amsterdam, away from the bustle of tourists yet within walking distance of everything. if you are wondering if this is a good place to book I can assure you it is!

Hello David, thank you for taking time to share your experience of your stay at PETIT PRINCE. Sure it was fun to meet you and mostly doing a little additional service is only fun for me and for Menno. It is a mutual thing: when it is clear that you are having such a good time and enjoying yourself at such a good way it is only inviting to add things to your stay. Please come back some other time, some other season. Count on a very favourable return - guest rate + special arrangement. Please say hello to Veronica; you make such a perfect couple ! Regards, Charles

Straight on check-in into 'Petit Prince' me and my husband felt welcomed and at home. The apartment comes well stocked with choice foods and snacks - and Charles, the owner, made sure we could never want for anything. The atmosphere of the apartment was excellent. Terrace, fireplace, decoration, style of modern items was perfect. Living in a typical Dutch apartment face to the canal and street was amazing. If you have kids and need a vacation with your spouse alone, this is an excellent choice to make. Oh! And the home made apple pie was delicious.

Was booked for me for my birthday and was the first time in Amsterdam for me. The apartment is very cosy right next to the canal and is lovely at night looking out from the main lounge windows. Good walk in shower and kitchen facilities. Ideally situated to explore Amsterdam as all roads seem to return to your door so quite hard to get lost. Just a quick note for elderly or people with small children, the staircase up to the apartment is very steep and tight. Personally this is more than I would pay for accommodation as usually all I want is a comfortable bed and a good shower but all in all a very pleasant stay

The location and the apartment were perfect for a visit to Amsterdam. Everything was within walking distance, many restaurants and markets were all within a few blocks. The apartment itself was perfect for a couple. The bed, high in a loft, was comfortable and large, The gigantic window beside the bed allowed us to look out over the rooftops of Amsterdam and the morning light filled the bedroom. The kitchen was well set-up for anyone wishing to cook some of the fresh foods from the market. We normally eat out when on vacation but this place was so pleasant it urged us to stay home some nights and just enjoy the ambiance. Speaking of the kitchen, IGGY stocked the pantry and refrigerator with an amazing variety of foods, drinks, wines, and all the basics for any type of meal. Eggs, meats, pate, bread, wine, we were set for the weekend when we arrived. This was not merely a welcome basket, this was a large amount of quality groceries. I must mention that the owner is dedicated to seeing that you have a pleasant stay. He had fresh flowers waiting for us and came by twice during our two weeks to deliver fresh flowers and Orchids that rivaled anything available at the Blomenmarkt. The terrace, the big-screen TV, the fireplace, the views from the wall of windows overlooking the Prinsengracht all made this a premium experience. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to see what it might be like living in the best neighborhood in Amsterdam.

It delivers on what it promises with the exception that the bed base (not mattress) in the loft should be revamped or changed as sleeping was not too comfortable. The location is excellent and Charles and Ignazio were very welcoming. The food provided as included in the price was of satisfactory standard. Overall one of the best places we have stayed in for holiday.
