“Lovely staff great position”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Lovely hotel and friendly, helpful staff. Cosy bar where we played Dutch Monopoly whilst waiting for friends. Breakfast was very good, rooms were cosy and warm and ours looked out over canal. If you are a very light sleeper you may not want a room canal facing as while we were there the deliveries to the hotel started very early in the morning. This was not a problem to us as we loved the view. Also easy walking distance from station if you are arriving by train.

This is the best hotel I've ever stayed in. It is a beautiful house in a perfect location by the Westerkerk. The rooms are very cosy and attractive, with baths with great products and nice views over the pretty garden. They are kept impeccably clean and the beds seem to be remade whenever you go out! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. On arriving we were given a useful map and great advice on bike hire and places to go. The free breakfast buffet is also outstanding, with croissants, cakes, ham and cheese, and so on. A fantastic stay.

Stayed here for a romantic getaway and it was absolutely perfect. The rooms are very luxurious and perfect for couples considering design. The location of the hotel is right in the heart of the city center, great for strolling around the city. Moreover all the staff members were so nice and the most hospitable persons, the manager on duty was exceptionally friendly. Overall a very pleasant experience, I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back!

This hotel is made up of two traditional Amsterdam canal houses which have been conjoined.
A great welcome. Hot towel and a virgin cocktail. Staff gave an incredibly warm welcome and explanation of re building, it's design, the surrounding areas and also armed us with a map.

Room was very stylish albeit a tiny bit dark. Bed was luxurious and having an open bath in the room a bit naughty but nice.

Our room faced a building and we had scaffolding so not brilliant.

The continental breakfast as amazing and served in what was formerly a restaurant with a lovely view of a private garden.

The owners own a spa range of products which are in the room and are fabulous and you can purchase them as well. They own some other hotels too so worth investigating.

Great boutique hotel. We were visiting Amsterdam for the first time and found the location ideal. The decor is trendy and chic. The staff could not be more helpful. Our contemporary rooms and bathrooms were nicely decorated. Our stay was very homely and reasonable value for a boutique hotel. We can't wait to go back !

We have been in that apartment this past weekend, and we thought this was kind of Bed and Breakfast, but actually it is private apartment. We liked it a lot.
Timea is the person in charge, and she's very kind and at disposal of clients.
The room was big, very warm and clean. No noise at all, and the location is perfect, only 12min by walking to the central station and 10 maximum to the red district and city center.
There are many cafes around and it is safe at night.
I do recommend to stay there.

We stayed for 2 nights in September from a recommendation and was perfect for a couples weekend break. The location was great, walking distance from boutiques, bars, museums and no tacky stag do's in sight - apart from the ones floating by the canal. The staff recommended hiring bikes and marked a few areas on the maps we could see. The breakfast was yummy with a huge variety of food and fresh juices. The only thing I could fault is the stairways were extremely tight and steep - I hit my head a few times.
