“Relax between sightseeing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

Museumplein is the square between 3 of the biggest museums in Amsterdam, Van Gogh, Modern Art and Rijksmuseum. So it is a great place to relax between seeing these museums, take a picture next to the giant ''I amsterdam'', have a coffee and buy some souvenirs.
In my visit I saw a lot of locals having a picnic there, and I totally recommend it.

“relax in Museumplein”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2013

Nice area to hang out a few cafe's on one side and on the other there is a skater park and chiildren's play area, loads of grass and free space largely bicycle free to let your kids run around in, good chill out and picnic area.

“Great place to hang out.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2013

This park area is surrounded by Museums so there are lots of tourists but it is fun to hang out when the weather is good. There is a nice outdoor cafe and museum shops around. Great place to enjoy the outdoors after a day in the Musuems.

“Excellent little park to rest between museums”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2013

Excellent location to stop and take a brief break while visiting the local museums. Quirky little sculptures and the famous I amsterdam sign. Lots of tourist during the warm weather taking their obligatory photos and an overall fun and funky little park. Well worth a visit.

“3 world-class museums in a park-like setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

There are very few places in the world where you can find 3 world-class museums in one small area surrounded by acres of parkland. Make time to see all 3 museums. My favorite is the Van Gogh museum, followed by the Rijksmuseum and last the Stedjelik, but all are worthwhile. Trams take you to the north, west or south perimeter of the park. After your museum visits head towards Leidseplein for lunch and other festivities including street performers in warm weather.
