“Worth the detour!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2014 via mobile

Cedars is about a 15 min cab ride from AMS center, took us a while to find an accasion to get there, absolutely worth the trip. The mezze (we took the set menu, which gets you the usual suspects incl hummus, fattoush, labne, etc) were really good, all fresh ingredients, really tasty. Our mains were grilled chicken kebabs and a pasta filled with lamb in a goats yoghurt sauce; we will come back to try the rest of the menu

“Many dishes”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2013

A Lebanese restaurant that has been around forever, so it must be good? It is! Try the mezes (and the Lebanese wines from "the oldest wine region in the world") and you will not be disappointed. Also, great view of the lake and in the summer a beautiful 'sunset terrace'.

“Excellent Lebanese cuisine in wonderful setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2013

Such a variety of wonderful tastes. Delicate spicing. I am very familiar with the Syrian/Lebanese kitchen and this restaurant is really wonderful. The wonderful starters as well as the grilled main dishes (fish, chicken, lamb) are all done to perfection. Both the white and red Ksara wines are excellent accompaniment.

“Nice view, nice food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2013

Overall good experience. The view is pretty, the place is big. The food is good although we were a bit disapointed by the main dishes which were the same size as the starters (but times the price).

“A very nice evening little bit outside of the city center”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2013

We were really positively surprised by the nice atmosphere in this waterfront located lebanese restaurant. The service was very friendly. We had a menu for 2 people. Starters so called Mezzas and desert were chosen by the kitchen, the main course was selected by ourselves with the help of the waitress. The suggested lebanese wine was also well accompanying our delicious dinner.
The owner finally explained us that the concept of this lebanese restaurant is to make all food fresh which underlines their good quality.
