“Great place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2014

Great place for a breakfast, brunch, lunch or just drinks. Locals and tourists can be found here in a relaxed atmosphere. Shop baked breads (try the walnut and raisin bread). Warming soups. Tasty toasties. Boiled eggs! Platters to share. Watch the world go by from a window seat. No cash accepted, just cards.

“Our breakfast every day”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013

This café and bakery was just around the corner from our hotel and was our first stop of the day. Friendly staff, good food, a great view of the bikes on the street and quick service got going quickly and easily. One peculiarity is that they take only cards, NO CASH

“great brunch place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

Great for a lazy lunch - tasty food (the shared savoury platter is delicious), great bread, good coffee and the atmosphere is also very nice.

“sandwiches for lunch or breakfast at a acceptable price”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013

place where they sell all kinds of sourdough-bread and in the back there is a little area where you can have breakfast or lunch. The store disigned to give it an "authentic" look: wooden tables, dark brown walls...
they offer breakfast and lunch. If you have difficulties choosing from the menu, you can consider to order a savory platter (for 2 people) where a variety of the fillings is offered.
the food offers decent value for your money.
- toasted sandwich (sourdough- bread) with chicken breast, pesto and mozzarella = 7.25 euro
- sandwich (sourdough- bread) with raz el hanout spices, tomato, spiced bulgur and pine nuts = 7.25 euro
- black coffee = 2.10 and white coffee = 2.60 euro

“Dutch food, with an international flavor!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

A short walk from the flower market, this little restaurant has a great selection of breads and pastries, but the best of their food is on the menu. My friend had the beef tartar on a spelt toast which was very well done, with excellent spicing and because my husband and I couldn't decide, we chose the combo sandwich meat. It was a little bit of everything, goat cheese with honey, tuna salad, chicken salad, veal slices, hummus, and a little green salad. The only thing to point out is that they don't accept cash...everything is paid for by credit card.
However, it is a erfect light meal after a busy day of shopping and walking.
