“great pizza, as good as any in rome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2014

stumbled across this place after a heavy drinking session in the red light district and at the time we thought it was the best pizza ever. The next day we went back sober and it was just as good. This pizza rivals any I have eaten in Rome, Venice or Florence

both times we ate Tarrtufi Con Coppa di Parma and Pomordori, they were delicious, we had another pizza on the first visit but was can't remember what it was. Also ate a foccacia which was lovely

The coppa de parma was gorgeous, with subtle truffle in the sauce. The buffalo motzerella was excellent quality and made the pomodori delicious. All cooked in an open kitchen in wood pizza oven. The restaurant was clean. The service on our second visit was very good

if i go back to amsterdam i will defiantly return

“All about the flavour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2014

We found this place by coincidence, but was a very good dinner choice. You can choose between the small and large pizza size, and all the pizzas are fresh made, so the taste is just delicious! For a pizza lover, they have wood oven! Highly recommended.

“Good pizza, great value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2014

Cosy place, with limited seating indoors. Great value menu and simple, tasty pizza. Principally a take away joint but also on the spot. Great location in quiet area. Recommended!

“Fresh, delicious and well priced...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2014

Stopped in for an early dinner after noticing da Portare Via on a stroll through the famous Red Light District of Amsterdam.

Everything was freshly prepared to order, including option to change the pizza options, and was simply delicious. Good assortment of tasty toppings and drinks - some of which were the cheapest we encountered in our time in Amsterdam. All up for four of us with 3 pizzas, a foccacia, a wine, coke and san pellegrino was €50.

The service was very good as well - friendly, efficient and all with a smile. The restaurant is very simple in design and decor and was very clean - similar to an old school diner - all adding to the overall experience.

If you are in the area, we would highly recommend stopping in for some great quality, delicious wood fired pizzas in the heart of Amsterdam.
