We took Tram#9 from Central & got off after 9 stops - right in front of the restaurant! We booked as a party of 8 for Restaurant Week and that took up a round table right in the middle of the whole restaurant. Service was very attentive and excellent. Our 3-course fixed menu was quite delightful. We were presented with the teacup of beetroot soup with a goat cheese cream. Starter was the roulade of cod fish with an eel foam - very generous portions for a starter. The mains was sliced steak with pearl onions & tiny mushrooms drizzled with a madeira sauce. Dessert was a trilogy of choclate delights - a choclate truffle with passionfruit gel, a solid choclate brownie & a choclate bombe - all of which took our breath away - awesome! The ambiance of our dining was even more memorable as we were surrounded by lovely paintings of well dressed characters similarly indulgent in their dining passions.......We almost bought the painting at the bar.....regrets!
