“40 years of various Efteling visits”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2013

We have been there dozen's of times in the parques history.
Before american owned, it was a nice place for an acceptable price and superior to eurodisney.
Now it is reversed. You better save your money to go to Eurodisney. This parque and hotels around are way too expensive for what is offered. However the rides very rarely have brake downs. Handicapped are served well. And should anything happen. They have got real insurance coverage. Technical suggestions to improve reliability and safety can be passed to the management and they seriously when justified apply them. If the parque entrance fee was lowered and this parque was not overcrowded to last sq. ft. it is one of world's best. But on a normal crowded day expect a visit of only 3-5 attractions visited and long qeueing. Its increased commercial approach damaged a lot of the early volunteer atmosphere. Expect 1,5 hour to leave parking hour on holidays if you want to stay to last minute. However if you can spare 200 euros for a family of 4 you have a great day here. Try to pick a slow day. And have a nearby alternative ready in case 60.000 got there before you. Happens a lot. So take a peek before jamming yourselves in the parking lot qeue. And try not to jaywalk all over the parque. Go from spot to spot. Little left for the youngest kids these years. Beware personnel at times is a bit underaged and tend to leave their control post and leave unattended. I issued twice an official complaint at the reception about it. Too inexperienced unaware and give two rides to operate. That does not work. Fee is high enough to pay proper operators. This specifically applies to area with the ancient go-arounds. No operator available then do no not split tasks..... That pedal train ride is not so innocent at times when guests above 12 are allowed to enter and try to shock into trains upfront..... Luckily somebody forced them to fit proper rubber shock absorbers on those trains...

Young kids love this parque... Do not forget the half with the fairey tales. Parque's real heart.

“A really good theme park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2013

Great theme park with excellent rollercoasters for thrill seekers down to lovely fairy tale rides for little ones. Good food, some innovative rides (e.g. bobsleigh) and really good theming. Easily spent two days here with only a couple of rides revisited. Never queued more than 20 minutes and often walked straight on- we went on a friday and a saturday. The ravelijn (sp?) show wasn't yet on but the websire looked fab and so this would add another hour to the day as well. 3 days would still keep us going! Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definately go again...Only thing less good was the aquanura show- good fountains but done in daylight so the lighting effects didn't work.

“Most beautiful theme park I ever visited”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2013

Really the best and nicest park in Europe. They did not win those rewards for nothing....!
Not a rollercoaster park though! It's really a family park. They have a good attraction for anyone!

Based mainly on fairytales. All attractions and rides are based on fairytales. They succeeded in every detail to come as close to the fairytale as possible. Great place to go with all people of all ages.

“Great park with kids”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2013

Even tough it is not the most cheap attraction to visit in Holland it is a wonderful experience to go there with your kids. They have attractions for all ages. Wild rollercoasters for the more adult visitors and kids, and wonderful fairy tail attractions and adventures for the toddlers and younger kids.

“Dream it and enjoy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2013

Whatever you heard as a little kid in fairy tales and whatever you could dream up, is at the Efteling and still so much better.
Not long ago voted best funpark in the world.
Parc Asterix is a close second. (just outside Paris! So much so, we skipped Euro Disney)!
