We stayed at this hotel because it's handy to the airport- literally located on top of the airport terminal. It was quite expensive ($140 Canadian for one night) and so we were slightly shocked to find two single beds pushed together in what we thought was a fairly high end hotel. Because we had been traveling all day, and it was late, we didn't complain, there was a bit of a language barrier when checking in so we didn't want to deal with it. Needless to say, it was slightly annoying waking up in the middle of the night in the crack between the two beds. Also when climbing into bed I also noticed at least 7 long red hairs in the sheets- this doesn't gross me out as it would some people so again we didn't complain as it was quite late at this time and I didn't want to deal with people coming in and changing the sheets. Maybe these issues would have been resolved had we of complained, but when you've been travelling for 12 hours and know you have to get up early to fly again it's not something you want to deal with. This hotel doesn't have it's own restaurant, but the airport restaurant is accessible and has very good food. There is a more expensive option that is a sit down type spot, the other is cafeteria style but has lots of choices and the quality is great. Overall, yes the hotel is convenient for travellers; however for this much money I expected more.
