“Not really leisure hotel more business very nice staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

We stayed here for 2 night's and found in general a great base ,Once upon a time it seems to have been a convent but has since been extended and absoulutley huge with very long corridors,The first receiptionist we encountered was very slow and unintrested but when we mentioned the beds in the diasbled rooms were very small to another gentlemen he resolved the issue with no problem,The local bus pulls onto the hotel frontage and is about 6 miles (10 Km's ) from Eindhoven .The grounds are very nice and the leisure centre first class with a large indoor pool as well as 10 pin bowling and squash courts .There is plenty of free parking and a Free Coffee and Tea point in the morning by reception ,Breakfast prices see to vary daily and can be expensive,There are vending machines available for snacks ,Overal would book here again in the future if visting the region .

Room Tip: Some rooms are a long way from receiption.

Huge 50 acre facility with decent sized rooms , green areas all around, only shortfall is lack of adequate time on our part to enjoy the full facilities.
Good two nights stay fully satisfied. Though location is far from . Amsterdam city, since we had the teansport for the group, the serene location helped a good night sleep without the buzz of city.

The hotel is large, built around a formal-looking, but very peaceful yard; I'm told it's a former monastery. One can easy get lost which is why the reception provides maps of the place. Rooms are clean, but nothing fancy; not much noise. Wi-fi works. I found it fine for a business trip.

Stayed at the Koningshof for 2 nights recently as a stop over before attending an Andre Rieu concert in Maastrict. There is very little to do in and around the centre but local buses run regularly to nearby towns. Being a single traveller, I found the room too small. Bed was comfortable, room clean. The staff were polite and helpful. The food was always hot and constantly being replaced. Overall a nice location to stay at but transport is a necessity to enable you to see more of this part of the Netherlands.

I think this place is like an old college or something. It has a dorm like feel and is really really huge in size. Its ok for a night. Old style tv and no AC. Free gated parking. Didn't check anything else out

We come here almost every year for a weekend because the surroundings are fantastic when you like to bike or hike through nature. Just returning from a visit to the USA it really strikes us that the beds are very small and have rather wobbly mattresses. In the room there is a really tiny oldfashioned tv, the carpet is so 1960's, no refrigerator, and no airco. You can easily hear noise from the neighbouring rooms. Bathroom is good though and you have free wifi in the room. Reception staff is a bit tired.

we have not long got back from the netherlands. we stayed at the nh con centre the staff of all levels were very accomadating. our room was very comfortable. tv was ok. spotless bathroom/shower room. the beds were to die for so comfortable wish we had them at home. the sports arena very good. we hired bikes for 4 days and took routes they plan out. furthest 45 klms. very pleasent and took picnics with us and stopped for an occasional beer. swimming pool good with gym sauna and sol room also squash. only thing was small resturant and bar . but pleasant. we did,nt have breakfast as a tad dear for availabilty of items. the grounds are lovely and there is a big pond full of fish with picnic and sunning area very quiet and relaxing. you could hear a pin drop. the place was very busy with all kinds of activities going on. we only ate one eve in the rest nice food reasonable priced.

Room Tip: we had room only in the red area . very quiet clean and restfull. would we stay again YES..
