“great well located hotel with an arty lightbulb theme twist”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

great city centre hotel wedged between a Phillips factory and the pedestrianised city centre.
Psv stadium a stones throw to the rear, with the hotel partly a former light bulb factory.
The only negative us the high cost of hotel breakfast.
Overall an excellent hotel in a mediocre city.

I love this hotel! Staying 50+ nights here I can say it's the best one in Eindhoven
The only thing I miss here is a swimming pool (but there is a Gym next door with a special offer to Hotel's guest (EUR 7,5, ask for a voucher on reception).
During winter it can be a little bit cold - you can ask for a heater on reception.
Very nice bar downstairs.
There is a parking under a building.

We had to stay in Eindhoven on a saturday night. The Art hotel was a very comfortable hotel, with a nice twist. The old Philips HQ offices are nicely converted into spacious rooms. Excellent interior design completes the experience.
The staff was very friendly, dinner was excellent, and the hotel has a nice bar area.
Only small remark : airconditioning in the rooms did not seem to work.

We had a room in the old Philips building. We soon realised we'd been upgraded to a suite! Wonderful, huge, very high ceilings, luxury bathroom. The bed was good and it was nice to have a sitting area to relax and full size table to put laptops on (wifi was free!). The only thing I could say about the room was that it was quite dark, the only windows being by the sitting area.
The hotel bar is right in the lobby and serves the usual drinks and tasty little snacks that I would recommend trying!
We had breakfast at the hotel, which I would not do again. The buffet was regularly topped up and staff were friendly but the selection was just okay and there were too few tables for all the guests - people were having their breakfast at the bar, in the lobby, everywhere. Next time I'll go to restaurant Usine next door - breakfast is cheaper, they have a wider selection of food and plenty of tables!
Location of the hotel is very good, right in the city centre, within easy walking distance of the train station (hotel has a private garage underneath too).
I'll be staying here again.

Visited this hotel as part of a large group. We were made very welcome and were delighted that the whole experience lived up to the web site claims. Our room was the largest hotel room we have experienced with excellent decor and furnishings. The only questionable item was the open hanging rail butit meant there was no problem choosing what to wear . You could se it all.

You have to have your wit about you when moving arround the hotel. The floor numbers and room numbers do not correspond and reading the floor notices is essential. The hotel has been created from the old Phillips light bulb factory which is a collection of various buildings with floors that do not necessary level with each other. Adds to the fun of your visit.

This is no ordinary hotel I viited 7 different rooms, by invitation, during my stay. They were all different and very modern in design.

Room Tip: Ours was a corner room and was very bright.
