This restaurant probably does have the best food in Eindhoven based on sheer quality. It's more modern and innovative than the Karpendonkse Hoeve, the city's other Michelin-starred place and its only real rival, which sticks more to classic French (i.e. too-rich sauces). This is lighter and more elegant. I even think the atmosphere in the dining room is lovely and stylish, and not at all weird for being in a football stadium as some other reviewers have suggested. But like all other Michelin places, you are paying as much for the ambiance and the over-attentive service as much as for the food, so if like me that's what you really care about, it is heavenly and beautifully presented, but does not represent the best value for money. It loses a star from me on that basis.
