Punched in food on the Sat Nav and found ourselves well rewarded. After a drive in some very dark forest through some very small lanes we came across this isolated restaurant hidden in the tree's. As a family of four we paid just under £100 for four mains and drinks, late on a Sunday evening, on a bank holiday, when everywhere else was closed. I enjoyed the meal immensely the patron and staff were polite and helpful, an appetiser was provided free of charge which was not asked for but most welcome. We ate outside in the illuminated garden as I felt we were under dressed for the occasion, the dark forest providing an interesting backdrop. I kept the details of the restaurant as we would return here.
