We staid in a first floor room overlooking the canal. It was a large room with separate sitting area, sauna, separate shower and bath and space to store your bags out of the way. It was a busy room but a lot of old world charm and furniture but was as is sometimes typical a bit dark at night.
We did have to go up one set of Dutch stairs but as regular visitors this was not a surprise. even though we had some large luggage ( you just need to one bag at a time with two people ) and the owner very quickly offered to help.
The breakfast was very acceptable and again quite Dutch,as you might expect,(rather than American/English/Australian )with the boiled egg, meats, breads, yoghurt and cereal.
We have to say we found the lady of the establishment very friendly and interested in helping us in any way to enjoy our trip to Breda and it was our first time in this B&B. I'm sure having tried a number of the hotels including the more expensive boutique hotel in the city centre we will return and recommend it to those seeking something with real charm in an excellent location so close to the station, park and city centre.
