We celebrated my wife 65th birthday with family and friends. On this particular sunday in february 2013 we enjoyed a special brunch, a kind of ‘self-picked lunch’, in the unique Poswick/Orangerie cave room. We had our apperitif in the cave where Queen Beatrix and the european leaders signed the Treaty of Maastricht, the birth of the euro. Maybe they had better drunk a glass of wine and left without signing.
You will start with pouring out your own aperitif, then you will take a seat at the table and you will be invited you to come to the kitchen. It is by all means allowed to make a tour through the kitchen and take a good look. The lunch was at good level, wines were reasonable but not great. The formula is very attractive.
