I had dinner here with some Dutch friends on a Sunday evening. It was not a busy time, so perhaps we got better than average service. The menu is not that extensive, with only eight or ten choices written on a mirror on the wall. But the preparation of the dishes was subtle and creative, so I was not disappointed. The wine list was good. They even had a good selection of liqueurs and scotch. This is well beyond what I expect from a small (and cramped) place with waitresses in aprons and t-shirts. Our waitress made a point of seeking me out at the end and asking whether there was anything that might have been improved.
This is one of my Dutch friends' favorite restaurant, and I can see why. It's modest enough for casual dining, but with above average quality and creativity. I'd certainly recommend it. It's not in the inner city, but close enough to be worth the short walk.
