We use this hotel for food frequently. Just returned from Sunday Lunch which once again was excellent with a great selection for all tastes. As always the service was friendly and quality of food was exceptional. Well done, definitely recommend for lunch and evening meals.

After spending a few longs days self driving we were at exhaustion point. We arrived in Tenby and looked for accomadation after having driven from Bath that day. No joy in Tenby at some of the guest houses because there were either no rooms or no parking. We travelled through Manorbier along some small tracks (my family were from this area in the 1800's and we were exploring) all the while looking for somewhere to stay. Or mission a room, B&B or the lies with a pub close handy. We had decided we probably would end up in Pembroke and we stumbled across this gem.
The room was massive and had recently been refurbished. Nothing was too much trouble for them.......once in room we wqent downstairs for a drink and being the only people there early we had the run of the place. We sat in a great annexe room where we could watch the olympics on TV. Hubby went further in to pick up free wifi..............Drinks were served and the staff were chatting to us. They found our Aussie accent amusing. Andrea.........what a laugh. We loved it. OOh and the food was also to die for. Would we ever go back..............Yep we sure would.

Stayed many times in Lamphey Hall.It all started with a surprise for my dads 80th birthday,7 years ago,and we are still going back there..What can i say, staff absolutely fantastic, customer service first class..Food brilliant, and nothing is too much trouble for them. The whole hotel has character, and the rooms are very cosy and comfortable. We feel more like family now, rather than customers.

Room Tip: All rooms are more than adequate, and the hotel is in a quiet location.

We decided at the last minute to book a table here for my birthday on recommendation from an acquaintance that morning.

On arrival at Lamphey Hall Hotel, we were very pleasantly surprised at the ambiance as soon as you go through the entrance door. The hotel has character.

We were met by Andrea (aka Sharon) who directed us to out table. We were offered a choice of menus and the choice was very good and the fish specials were very interesting. We both had garlic and brandy King Prawns for starters. I am not to proficient on peeling King Prawns so this was done by the kitchen - a nice touch. For the main course, my wife liked the Chicken, Wild Mushroom, Brie and Bacon Roulade. However, she and mushrooms don't get along too well. We asked whether the roulade was premade but was told that all food was freshly prepared so if she didn't want mushrooms they wouldnt make it with them. Another very nice touch. I ordered Fillet Steak Rossini (well it WAS my birthday).

As we were waiting for the first course, we were each offered a little jug of complimentary soup. Again a nice touch. I was warming to the friendliness of the hotel and the staff.

The starter course was beautiful.and the main course was nothing short of perfection.

We were offered desserts but had no room to do it justice. As I was waiting for the bill, Andrea (aka Sharon) brought me in a piece of cheesecake with a candle and umbrella singing "Happy Birthday" both in English and in Welsh (what do you expect from a girl from the Valleys).

All in all I was delighted with the standard of the meal and the friendliness of the staff. Well done and we will be back now that we have found you.

The only other comment I have to make is please bear in mind that all the food is prepared and cooked fresh and because of this, it does take a little bit longer for the meal to appear. If you want to be in and out in half an hour, this place isn't the place for you (mind you, ask Andrea - aka Sharon - and she could probably arrange that too)
