Mr. Sani and Shaba are excellent hosts. They come around, talk to you, socialize, and make you feel very welcome. If you're a person who enjoys good hospitality, then Shaba is the right place for you. They treat you like friends ... and it was my first time.
Tucked away in a little corner just off Langstrasse, the restaurant is a little gem. Beautiful décor and great service. You can either sit on a normal table or reserve a beautiful curtained Asian booth where you sit near to the floor.
The food was good. It is a fusion of Thai, Indian and western cuisine that come together to provide you a decent dish. I'm of Indian origin and passionate about Thai food and I found the food to be good. I'd honestly prefer wither authentic Indian or Thai cuisine rather than fusion but I knew what they served before I went for dinner.
This place is popular and has many repeat guests. They are so successful, they don't even advertise.
I really enjoyed Shaba because of Sani, Shaba, the décor and the service. I will return.
