Stayed for 4 nights from 26th July to watch our son participate in the Zurich Ironman. Hotel faultlessly run. Efficient, helpful, friendly staff. Very comfortable room and very quiet-not a sound penetrated the walls, floor or ceiling! Definitely went the extra mile by providing a sumptuous, full hot and cold breakfast at 4am on the morning of the Ironman for the athletes and hangers on! Hats off to the staff and much appreciated. For me the only downside is that it is in a fairly soulless location-bit of a concrete jungle. A bit away from the centre of the city but a No 13 tram gets you to the centre in about 10 minutes. Where it is allows limited choice for off premises eating- maybe 4-5 restaurants around an enclosed concrete square-the in house dining for us seemed rather expensive( maybe our exchange rate!)
For service and comfort would definitely go again but if I went as a tourist I would probably choose more city centre or old city location for easy access by foot to Zurich's many attractions. Lovely city!
