“Ideal hotel for people seeking high quality in a different way”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2013

When entering the hotel, a ping pong table, funny slogans (run forrest run, etc...) and trendy city bikes and Minis ready for use give you an immediate idea that this hotel is fairly different from others. Friendly staff and the modern urban design builds a perfect working but also chilling out atmosphere to meet collegues and friends.

The WiFi is the fastest in town for sure, the printers work without any distractions and the free tea stations just top the whole experience off.

Do not expect the common! This hotel is how its design: unique, urban and made for today's needs. Perfect if you are bored of the usual business hotel, offering all the same!

Only critical point is the waiting time in the morning to check out. But with the colourful kiosk right next to reception and all the details in the design, there is enough to see whilst waiting a couple of minutes.

Room Tip: Take the Bunk Bed room! Where else can you get them in such a comfortable and stylish way?

We recently stayed there for one night and we really enjoyed the hotel, it is very nicely decorated, rooms are very nice and spacious. The staff are very nice and always willing to help, this was great. Another plus, is that just outside the hotel you have the tram stop to go to the city centre which is about 15 min away.
We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

I went to Zurich onbuisness and found this hotel to be very good, a nice neat urben design which was lovely - the hotel also has bicycle and car service for free, which allows you to combine buisness with pleasure, 10 minutes drive to the city centure by a bicycle.

I wormly recommend this hotel :)

I was pleasantly surprised to receive a great quality of service from the staff at the 25hours, especially regarding the modest room prices.
The design of the hotel encourages a friendly, social environment (perfect for a lonely traveler). The fellow guests of the hotel were similarly friendly and overall the atmosphere in the lobby was relaxed, casual and work-friendly.

The bed is to die for!!! Had such a great sleep after a chaotic week. Overall, the room was great and I really enjoyed the layout and openness of the area. The location is great and very accessible.

Overall, it was a great value for money! I will definitely be returning!!!

First stop on a tour of Switzerland with my girlfriend. There's a tram stop right in front of the hotel which makes other parts of the city accessible. On the other side of the street is a grocery and a cafeteria with an assortment of food. Very convenient. Other good points are the helpful staff, blackout curtains so you can wake up late. Air conditioning is a little bit noisy. The pillows are overly soft but you can request for extra. Overall, a great hotel.

The reception staff was nice and recommended places to eat as hotel is out of the city center. Room was very nice and clean. Lovely bathroom products to use and bed was big and comfortable. Only thing is that my colleagues room was facing a different place and she could hear people playing table tennis. But nothing too loud.

Room Tip: Choose rooms not facing ping pong table

The see-through glass between the room and the bathroom, the crazy carpet in the room, the red lights and the loud music in the entrance/reception area every night after a long day of meetings with business partners totally freaked me out. It was like staying in a disco. It also took about 20 minutes to check out, so I was late for a meeting with a client. I am a business traveller and this hotel is not for my purposes. Bur for fun-travellers and young people on holiday looking for a good time this could be a fantastic place.

Room Tip: If more than one person is staying in a room, note that in this hotel they have double-bed rooms in...

Dear Business T

We are sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy your stay at the 25hours Hotel Zürich West. We always try to guarantee our guests a quick check in & check out. We would like to apologize that it took 20 minutes in your case. We offer our guests always the first floor with our Zunftstube as a retreat for working in a cosy and undisturbed atmosphere. Every 25hours Hotel is completely different designed compared to the other 25hours hotels. Our claim is “You know one, you know none.”
The 25hours Hotel Zurich West was developed with the team of Alfredo Häberli Design Development together with Aeberli Vega Zanghi Architects and with Stefanie Häberli-Bachmann. The 25hours Hotel is his first chance to completely design a hotel and combine his well-known products with new, exciting ideas, especially designed for 25hours. 25hours through and through, of course with its own little wink and a dip in the paint jar. As designer of the hotel, Alfredo Häberli creates surprise with double-entendre and value-added in the different room elements. We hope to welcome you again in one of our 25hours Hotels soon.

Best regards
