This is one of my favourite restaurants in Zürich. I have been going for nearly 20 years and it was always under the same ownership. It's homely and very personal, with less than a dozen tables. The owner cooks and his wife is the head of service. It closes comparatively early in the evening.
It has comparatively cheap - at least for Zürich - lunch menus (2 or 3 a day with soup and salad, one vegetarian). In the evening, the seating is a bit less dense and it's Swiss and Spanish à la carte. The Spanish chef also has a wineshop next door, so the selection in the restaurant is good.
Try the home-made desserts, especially the Crema Catalana or the Chocolate Mousse!
