We spent two nights at the front end of our vacation and our last night in the Hotel Seefeld and were extremely pleased with our experience. The hotel is well located -- it's only a two minute walk to the tram stop, a five minute walk to Lake Zurich and an eight minute walk from the Stadelhofen Station, from where, in under 20 minutes, you can take an S16 train to or from the airport.
The hotel offers an accommodating staff, a generous breakfast, free internet use in the lobby, a small but well equipped fitness room, immaculate bedrooms, comfortable beds, and a yellow rubber ducky in the bath tub. Who could ask for more?
Two caveats: if you are a light sleeper, be advised that the rooms located in front of the building on Seefeldstrasse are somewhat noisy due to the tram traffic (which stops operating from about midnight until 6 a.m.) On our last night, we stayed in a great room in the back of the hotel which was extremely large and quiet. Also, based on our limited experience, there is no air-conditioning in Switzerland. To minimize the street noise, we kept the windows closed, but then the room got stuffy. The solution for us was to request a room fan, which did the trick.
We look forward to our next trip to Zurich and to the Hotel Seefeld.

We were in Zurich just befoue Christmas. This is a great hotel. Very modern and clean. Pleanty of room to move and store bags and cloaths etc. Friendly and helpful staff. The tram outside the door. Great location.

Stayed here for two nights on a business trip in and around Zurich.
A really well thought out hotel, especially for the price. Rooms were clean and modern with great beds. Not enormous but they have made good use of the space available with loads of storage space etc.
Breakfast, which was included in my rate, was good. In the evening the restaurant/bar was popular with the locals but a bit smoky for my taste. However there are a large number of good restaraunts nearby.
The tram (very good/very cheap) stops very close to the hotel meaning you can get to/from the main station in less than 15 minutes

This modern, minimalist hotel perfectly offers the stylishly simple comforts required for a short stay in Zürich.

The location is conveniently close to a tram stop, which will have you in the main shopping area within 10 minutes and yet the hotel is only a 5 min walk from the lake.

The rooms follow the deco minimalist trend of the hotel and are comfortably equipped for a short stay.

The hotel bar has a nice atmosphere and attracts a young professional crowd, however the proximity to other bars and restaurants meant we didn't stay in there much.

Would happily stay in the Seefeld on our next Swiss visit.
