My friend recommended this bar for a nice view of Zurich from the top of the Prime Tower. It was quite crowded when we went on a Friday night, but there was a lot of turnover, so we got a place to sit after we ordered at the bar.
Despite the jokes about the Prime Tower being the tallest building in Switzerland (which pales in comparison to skyscrapers in L.A. or any other major city), the view IS quite pretty, especially overlooking the train tracks at night.
The drinks menu is quite extensive and almost overwhelming to look at. The drinks are kind of pricey, too. I got the Huckelberry Finn (Raspberry infused rum, blackberries, cranberry juice, lime juice, chestnut syrup), and my friend got the Georgia Mint Julep (Cognac, apricot liqueur, mint, sugar syrup, angostura bitter). Each drink cost CHF 19.
I really liked my drink. Sweet and fruity, it came in a huge glass topped with 3 luscious blackberries.
The servers were really nice and attentive, and they gave us complimentary spiced mixed nuts with the drinks.
