I had some misgivings about booking this hotel after reading the reviews of our American friends. However on arrival any concerns were quickly forgotten.I was allocated a top floor room with a double bed, something I had requested in advance due to my above average height. It was quite spacious with nice furnishings and a spotless bathroom. The reception was also of a high standard with a comfortable seating area. The hotel has a cosy if somewhat pricey bar with a pianist most evenings. The breakfast room was bright and cheerful with a good choice of Continental and cooked breakfasts. The Hotel is a little out of town but a tram gets you to the centre in 10 minutes for 3f 80c or for those in a hurry a taxi is 25f. The staff were most courteous throughout all areas. Zurich is a compact city with the shops, museums, churches and Lake Zurich withing easy walking distance of one another so the location of the Hotel is not a problem. The main sites can all be seen within two days.A lovely city worth a visit and I would certainly recommend this Hotel.
