I was with my wife for three nights. The hotel is good, clean and nice but the rooms are too small. The location is not the best if you intend to walk around the city. The breakfest is excellent and the staff are very friendly.

We stayed at this place one night prior to our Rhine River cruise. It was set up by the tour company, as it's their base while in Switzerland. The tour company charged us $270.00 for the pre-night stay which is a lot more than the hotel normally charges.
The room was tinier than our cruise ship room, we could only open one suitcase at a time because it was so cramped. Don't believe the pictures. We had 2 tiny little single beds, which honestly were ok because we were so tired. At least it was clean. The bathroom was well lighted, so that was a plus. The curtain was torn, and the furnishings were very old and outdated. Also, the room stunk of cigarettes, eventhough it was supposed to be a non smoking room.
The hotel is in a not very nice part of town, really run-down area, no decent restaurants within walking distance. We ate at the hotel (dinner for 2 was over $100.00) and I don't think we ordered that much. Food was decent though. Can't remember if we even had breakfast, although I know it was included.
We had no choice on this trip, but I would not willingly stay here again.
We were given an Executive Suite and by definition, you imagine two rooms right? Wrong. It was a very small room. It had a minibar, refrigerator, coffee maker, wired internet, leather sofa, in-room safe and good lighting in the bathroom. But there was no outlet in the bathroom for my curling iron and no mirror near an outlet - very bad. The pillows were flat as pancakes. The breakfast was 33 SWF and hot meals were available. Lots of choices for fruits and juice. The area is somewhat depressed, but safe. Didn't use the pool but the exercise room was used by tenants seen from our window. The #3 Tram stop is about 5 min from the hotel and there are signs at the stop pointing to the hotel. There were many english speaking visitors and the staff spoke english.
I was warned about the hotel, but this was the only one available on our corporate list.
All in all, it was an OK experience. The room was tiny, even by European standards. The service was fine, I didn't run into any rudeness and they let me borrower a power adapter since I'd forgotten mine. The bar area was OK, the guys that ate at the restaurant said it was good. The outdoor area was really nice as well.
Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in August 2007. Disappointed in the room condition- carpet was worn and dirty- bedding was old and out dated- room had strong odor-room was small & cramped even by European standards- bathroom has some updating but with poor quality workmanship- location is a distance by tram to the city center- our room was booked thru priceline - even at a discount was not worth the price- we could have booked a better hotel ourselves. Priceline rated as 4 star - we would only rate between 2 and 3 stars...would not recommend this hotel.
