“Triple room, one night”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

We were only in Zurich for a night on the way from Paris to Rome on the train. This is a very convenient location to the train station and also allowed us to walk through the old parts of the city to the lake. Staff were very helpful and even arranged a pickup breakfast for us as we were leaving too early to get the free breakfast included in the rate.

Clean bathrooms. Small but comfortable room for one adult and two kids.

Our experience is like those recent reviews - we liked the closeness to the railway station and Swiss Museum and to Limmat River and its sights, churches, eating places and museums. Having unlimited internet for boarding passes and checking email - that was good. Breakfast was satisfying, with yogurt, breads, cheeses, eggs, sliced meats. We faced the street on the top floor (5) and had a good view and airflow (no A/C). Rooms were quiet - we were next to the elevator, but heard nothing from that machine or guests. Would definitely do this hotel again.

Room Tip: our room faced the street and was up high. we had no noise issues.

The location of this hotel is excellent; a few minutes walking distance from the tram stop or a little longer from the main station and is right by the old town .There is Coop supermart nearby. There are several good restaurants on the hotel's street. We had a quad room ensuite with very comfy beds , h roomy cupboards, a large desk and chair , good ventilation ,comfortable bathroom but tiny shower space basic toiletries provided. Wood flooring and good lighting; no air conditioner but 2 fan were provided.Very friendly staff and Breakfasts with a good choice but no hot food. Free Internet and WiFi with courtesy tea and coffee for residents in the reception area. Functional and clean

Great spot near train station and the "old town". As the airline lost both our luggage, staff were very helpful in telling us where the nearest stores/malls were. Downside was it was a Sunday and Monday was a public holiday so it was hard to find anything open!
Double room was nice and clean, beds comfortable, nice size bathroom and a lot of storage space (for our missing luggage). Breakfast a lot better than expected.
Nice simple hotel in a great location.

Breakfasts with a good choice but no hot food. Free Internet and WiFi with courtesy tea and coffee for residents in the reception area. Functional and clean and polie- would use it again for a short city break.

The hotel is a convenient 5 mins walk from the central railway station. We booked a quad room for 4 persons via Booking.com but only realise that the deal was for one person upon check in. There is an additional charge of CHF15 per person to stay. Room was clean and spacious, non air conditioned but fans were provideded. Breakfast was a limited spread of cold cuts and breads. Overall is a nice stay and recommended for budget travellers.

The location of this hotel is excellent; a few minutes walking distance from the Central tram stop (take the 10 tram from the airport) or a little longer from the main station; right by the old town and smartest shopping street. There are several good restaurants on the hotel's street. Rooms are very quiet with plenty of hanging and shelf space, a large desk and ample room in the bathroom for toiletries. Wood flooring and good lighting; no aircon, just a fan and radiator. The room I stayed in had the basin in an alcove in the bedroom area separate from the bathroom. I found this a strange arrangement which I didn't like. Staff are helpful and friendly, free wi-fi throughout and a computer in the foyer for guests' use. Breakfast was very good but no fresh fruit provided.

Room Tip: Request a completely self-contained bathroom
