We were there in October of 2011 but that is not an option to pick. We do not get a lot of venison where we live in the states given that we do not hunt. We had it every chance we could while in Switzerland and they definitely know how to cook it. Served with gravy on the side and spatzle. This restaurant also offered it in a stew which my husband had and said was very good. I preferred the medallions myself. This was the last meal we had before returning home so probably the one that will remain in my mind. Unfortunately when we return it will be in the late spring, early summer, so it will not be an option. If you are around Zurich in the fall I definitely recommend this place for the venison.
