Plan was to have something to eat in Old Town of Zug but when we arrived at Zug train station, a big thunderstorm had started. So we decided to give Far East a try. For a train station restaurant, the dining room is rather cozy . The welcome was friendly and we quickly received the menu card and our drinks arrived soon after. We had spring rolls as an appetizer. The spring rolls were rather large and tasted fresh and very good. As mains we had the Green Thai Curry with chicken, Pad Thai with beef and Szechuan chicken with fried noodles. The Pad Thai is on the menu with chicken but could easily be changed to beef as all dishes are freshly prepared. We eat Thai food quite a lot and the green curry is probably the best green curry we ever had. I really enjoyed the Szechuan chicken with the fried noodles, it had a nice spicy bite to it. The pad thai with beef was a real keeper as well! We will certainly return for a quick dinner at a reasonable price.
