Visited this cathedral recently, it is well deserve of its fame. Not only is it majestic with its Gothic design, when you entered into the church it fills you with a sense of serinity. I spent some time sitting down to admire the beauty of the church and I was not the only one, almost all visitors who were there when I was seem to take some time just to sit and admire, and maybe doing some reflections too... As this is the kind of church that makes you want to pause and give thanks to the Creator. Whilst I was there, I was lucky enough as there was what seem to be a mini concert and the majestic pipe organ was playing at the same time during my visit. It only added to the overall experience of this visit and enhance the awe that this church seems to have inspired in me.
It is very easy to reach by public transport out by foot, take a leisurely stroll up the hill and you will be rewarded to not only the church but also the lovely view of Lausanne.
