It's a cozy hotel with lake view! :) the staff are really friendly and the room service is good :) there is a sevounire shop right in front of the entrance to the hotel that's amazing cuz they don't look like they've got anything but the guys in there are helpful and they do have everything u r looking for ;) the hotel is just perfect :)

lausanne is a city worth a visit any time of the year. the hotel angleterre is well situated at the lake shore of lake geneva. a nice broadwalk leads along the lake and the metro station is 2 minutes by foot which takes you right into the city center. the hotel is run by the same people as the five star hotel beau rivage right next to the hotel angleterre, therfore the service is on a high level. the rooms are modern and for swiss standards spacious, although only a few ones have lake view and for that they charge you dearly. the rooms are spread over several buildings. the restaurant is ok, here the service is imersonal since it is frequented by many non-hotel guests as well.

We booked a reasonnable weekend package including breakfast, 1 dinner in a delicious italian, welcome swiss wine, free entry to the cinq mondes spa and amazing superior room with the view on the Alpes and lake leman.

Hotel d'Angleterre is the sister property of famous Beaux Rivage. Located right next door, this property is a bit more modern and less formal yet with the same level of service. The Italian restaurant is wonderful especially if the weather is nice enough to sit outside and enjoy the view of the lake. The property is made up of several buildings around a courtyard. If you desire a view from your room, make sure that ask specifically since the views vary significantly - from charming balconies overlooking the lake to rooms with very high windows that you cannot see out of without a chair.
