In Lausanne there are a few places that will serve you food & drinks after the last cinema session. But they are that common.
One of my all times favorites is "la brasserie du Château" it brews its own beer and it is not bad at all (my preference is "la rousse" or the ginger beer). It is more a pub than a restaurant and is very crowded and noisy most of the time, but if you are patient, you will eventually find a spot and even make new acquaintances on the way.
The atmosphere is young and lively, definitely not a place for quiet conversations, but enjoyable all the same.
The best thiong with this place is that it cooks some foccacias and pizzas until closing time, so there is always something to eat. They make one of the finest "quatre fromages" pizzas I know in Lausanne, so if "light" is not part of your vocabulary, try it !
Nice place for an after work too, it is quieter then and nice to gather with collegues and share a pizza with your beers, you can order your pizza pre-sliced to make it easier.
A place to keep in your list of possibilities whenever you happen to be in Lausanne late at night and looking for a bite and some atmosphere.
