Excellent service, high quality value for money food and a unique setting as though you're dining in a grotto/cave distinguish Pinte Besson. We had the round table at the far end of the restaurant and were treated to a memorable dining experience. For the size of the restaurant the choice of dishes is impressive. We tried the cold cuts, cheese fondue with mushrooms, the daily fish and the breast of duck: very distinct plates, all well presented with appropriate accompanyments, and enjoyed by each diner. When they were out of the bottle of wine we had ordered (among the cheapest), the waitress apologized and substituted a well-chosen more expensive wine (charging the lower price). One of our friends had noticed "souffle" for dessert and had asked about whether it needed to be ordered at the start of the meal (generally needs a 45 minute lead time). When told no that later was fine, she waited and when it did arrive was disappointed that it was a frozen souffle, which while good was not at all what was anticipated. We would definitely return and strongly recommend Pinte Besson as a great place to experience local dining at a reasonable cost.
