“Wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2013

We loved wandering through this park. The vibrantly coloured flower beds with the lake glimmering behind, are stunning and draw your gaze across the water to the mountains beyond. It is not a huge botanical garden, however it is well laid out and has many small walks, grassy areas and seating. A peaceful and pleasant place to spend a few hours.

“A wonderful park for families or couples!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

We love to visit botanical gardens and this park is one of our all time favorites. Wear comfortable shoes and don't forget your camera! The park features beautiful blooming azaleas and rhododendrons in multiple colors. The park is filled with wonderful scents while these shrubs are in bloom. The park is multiple levels and offers panoramic views of the mountains and lake below. The park has a wonderful restaurant that features a wisteria covered patio and great food. We were there for Mother's Day and the featured menu was delicious (basil ravioli, oso bucco and sorbet). There is also a nice playground for the kids.

“Stunning views , great playground and walking”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

This is a must if you are in Lugano. Catch the bus to Carona and walk the 15 min to the park and then why not continue to Morcote on well marked footpaths. You can have a drink/ food stop at Alpe Vicania.
