“Hands-down the best restaurant in Arosa”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

We’ve previously struggled in finding a really good restaurant in Arosa and with the closure of the Eden a few years ago, our options were further limited.

Then, we happened across Aifach, almost by accident and decided to make a booking based purely on the aesthetics of the restaurant.

We were absolutely blown away.

The menu is a set three course affair with no options presented. Normally this would sound alarm bells of the “extremely pretentious” type, but in Aifach’s case the dishes served are so delicious that you are forced to retire any prejudices you may have had.

The atmosphere is a lot of fun; it’s busy and electric but somehow still managing to be cosy and private. This is the sort of restaurant you remember for all the right reasons: what it does is quite different (certainly for Arosa and surrounds), but it does it perfectly!

“2 visits, twice the fun... simply (aifach) great.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

We visited Aifach twice during our ski vacation!! What a refreshing addition to the culinary landscape of Arosa. Our group consisted of oldies and youngsters with an age range from 9-70 years. No easy task to please them all in a setting with a daily set menu, but each and every one enjoyed it a great deal. The youngest and pickiest of our group was accommodated with plain butter noddles... she was very pleased!!
During our second visit the exhaust system of the open kitchen crapped out... we missed the show, but the food was equally tasty.. chapeau for pulling it off with out a glitch even under these circumstances.
We are all looking forward to next year, and wish you all the best for the rest of the winter-season.

“Aifach excellent!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013 via mobile

The concept is fantastic - one menu, 4 courses, aifach amazing! The night we went the menu consisted of the following courses; salad, carrot & coconut soup with prawns & seaweed - there was definitely a red Thai curry taste going on in the background (very Asian!), filet steak (a very special cut Chateau de something amazing!!), quark & sugar plums with homemade biscuits crumbled over the top for dessert. The staff were super friendly, helpful & attentive. One of the guests only spoke English & the waitress remembered & always spoke English with him! Their knowledge of the wine fridge - no menu just a fridge, was comprehensive, we definitely weren't disappointed with the Rioja the waitress recommended.
If you had special dietary requirements & didn't check before hand this could be challenging (we didn't check but weren't disappointed with the options) but we totally enjoyed our meal over a lazy two hours.
We will definitely go back again to try the next menu on offer.
If you're in Arosa this place is definitely worth a visit; make sure you make a reservation as the restaurant is intimate & fills up very quickly.

“Must visit when in Arosa!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013 via mobile

Unbelievably good athmosphere and food. Small place just off the main street, seems to be run by a group of friends, and they do it well.

No choices, they have one menu running every day. You're completely at their mercy but it works beautifully. I loved not having to make decisions for once. Even wine is recommended.

If you leave Arosa without eating here, your trip is incomplete.
