We arrived in Murren on our way up the mountain only to find the upper lift was closed due to high winds. Instead we walked around town dodging raindrops but found many of the local restaurants were closed (Wednesday). We are glad we stopped here, the food and service was very good, and we could look out their rear windows watching the clouds come and go. My wife had a salad and I had the stroganoff, both were filling and priced appropriately, EUR 40 (we had Coke and did not order wine). Once the rain subsided, we continued on with our sightseeing.
