This restaurant is the largest restaurant at Kleine Scheidegg, right at the train station, and we frequent it very often during the ski season for big ski group lunches as the service is efficient, fast and the food is very good Yesterday we were a walking party of 14 and we got to KS around 2pm; it was foggy and cool so we sat inside and experienced the same fast efficient service of good mountain food as in the winter. The kids, mostly young teenagers, always go for 'hopla bopla 'which is a big bowl of spaghetti with 4 different sauces which they share and enjoy; I chose the minced meat rosti dish - always excellent - my wife had a very good soup of the day. The hamburgers and steak sandwiches which other adults had were felt to be 'smaller' than usual portion size. Chf300 including drinks for 14 is not bad value. Superb setting with stunning view of the Eiger when not shrouded in fog!
