“Piles and piles of snow in Interlaken!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

Totally worth it and the snowy landscape was breathtaking! Totally worth all the money and time spent. The train ticket up was about 150 francs. We went up during winter and it was -18 degrees up there! Butt-freezing...brrr.....

“Glacier at the foot of the Eiger”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

The Jungfraujoch is one of the obligatory sites to go on the Swiss Alps. You climb 3454 meters by train, in the highest European railway. Go in a sunny day and you can see the glacier extending over the plateau, from the Sphinx Observatory. It is one of Nature's spectacles to be outside and feel the mountains.
Be sure to have a camera for cold temperatures, or you will miss some spectacular photos.

“Jungfraujoch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

What a an experience, have been up to the Jungfraujoch four times, the view is breathtaking ! The train ride is exciting , it is one of the highest stations in the world, 3460 m, the train departs from Grund station in Grindelwald ! The air is very thin up there,so be prepared, and remember to dress warmly ! Their are also good Restaurants and the Ice Palace with its it's beautiful sculptures, is a special experience.
Also visit the Sphinx hall, it has the fastest ski lift in Switzerland,25 seconds. Ther is a 360 degree panoramic view.

“Amazing experience on top of Europe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

I totally agree this is a must-see. I grew up with mountains (some almost 6,000 meters) always present in the landscape and my memories, but this is really stunning. The mountain itself is a wonder but also the work of constructing this train and the time it was made it's really worth visiting. Ok, the price for the ride is not a peanut but if you go there you will not regret. We had a not very promising weather and the visibility was pretty bad so little disappointed at the beginning but the mountain gifted us with a clear sunshine on the top.
