We stayed at this hotel for one night while driving across Switzerland.
The main attraction of the hotel is its proximity to the lake and the old bridge - it is literally less than a 10-minute walk to all the restaurants along the lake.
The hotel feels very child-friendly, with a kids area in the (small) lobby.
Our room was really tiny and crowded but with comfy beds. The main drawback was the lack of air conditioning - it was a very hot day when we stayed in August and with only a small fan provided, we had to sleep with open windows (letting both light and noise in unfortunately).
Breakfast was quite reasonable with a good choice of food.
You can park easily around the hotel (you need to get a ticket from reception for a few euros) and, as previous reviewers have stated, there are lots of shopping opportunities around and nice cafes too.
Overall it was a pleasant, although pretty average, hotel stay.

Nice location near the Swiss Lion Monument.
There's a Mall near the area. Shops are plenty around the area especially if you are looking for souvenirs.
15 minutes walk to the Swiss Watch Shopping area, and also for the main attractions such as the wooden rose bridge.

We had a pleasant stay at Ibis styles in Lucern city. Room was quiet, facing nearby office buildings. A good size with king bed and very clean. Location was convenient, close to restaurants, lion monument, and short stroll to the bridge.
The free coffee tea and water in the lobby was a nice bonus :) breakfast had a variety of deli bread croissants spreads (try ovalmaltine) cappucino fruits cereals yogurts etc.
