We had high hopes.... and were a bit disappointed.
High points _ the food is pretty tasty. The fajita portions of meat was so huge, we took quite a bit home and recycled it, and it was really good morphed into a rice dish. The inside of the restaurant looks quite cute. The hot chili sauce rocks!
Low points _ the outside area is bordered by train and traffic thundering past, and is visited by many dodgy visitors to the Baselstrasse looking for a burger or sausage. Service is a bit hit and miss out there, when someone cares to come and check. Inside seems the domain of bucks and hens party.... I felt too old to be in there, quite frankly. And it was also too hot on a summer night. The accompaniements to the fajitas are really mean (though they will bring more on request).
While the price was slightly less than other comparable options, our conclusion was that we would pay the 20 francs more to be in more salubrious surroundings, have more refined food and infinitely better service. Still, it was an experience!
